The Learning Hub Approach shifts away from traditional extractive monitoring, evaluation & learning (MEL) practices to embrace real-time peer-to-peer learning and building partnerships. The Hub provides investors, grantee partners, and Women’s Funds opportunities to unpack local successes, challenges, and emerging questions. We hold spaces to build new connections, partnerships, and relationships beyond the Fund’s grant cycle among different groups.

Transformative Collaboration.

We hold spaces, such as quarterly virtual meetings, with all Fund stakeholders, to build community, relationships, and collaboration among organizations from different sectors and perspectives. Increasingly, there will be in-person workshops and one-on-one meetings.

The Fund’s iterative learning process touches all operational and programmatic components. All learning practices are co-created and collectively facilitated by the RF community, with grantee-partners leading agenda setting and primary learning themes.

Learning is a central ethos of the Fund.  The key structure to advance our learning is the Learning Hub, which produces insights and analytics from the grantmaking and other processes, builds community and connections, and creates space for dialogue. Through the Learning Hub, the Fund embraces real-time learning, offering investors, grantees, and partners opportunities to discuss local successes, challenges, and emerging issues. This important shift away from conventional, funder-driven monitoring and evaluation towards co-created impact & learning measures helps grantees respond to realities on the ground and provides a technology-rich environment for all Fund stakeholders to come together to share and learn.
